Grace Dible, DNP, CNM, is a certified nurse-midwife and full time clinical nursing professor at Indiana University. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Marian University, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Miami, and both a Master of Nursing and a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Frontier Nursing University. In addition to her academic role, Dr. Dible practices part-time as a certified nurse-midwife at a federally qualified health center. Her professional focus centers on advancing maternal health in Indiana through advocacy and education. Outside of the Indiana affiliate of the American College of Nurse Midwives, the Indiana OBGYN Health Workforce Council, the Indiana Perinatal Quality Improvement Collaborative, and the Fetal Infant Mortality Review board for Broward County, Florida and Marion County, Indiana.

Meg Merriman, CNM, MSN, DNP, earned a master's in nurse midwifery from Frontier Nursing University in 2023. She then went on to complete her doctorate in Nursing. She is board certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board. She currently works for Community Health Network in Indianapolis.

She has a special interest in physiologic childbirth and has done continuing education around perinatal mental health. Meg is passionate about providing trauma informed care to her patients and inspiring others around her to do the same. Prior to becoming a midwife, she worked as a labor and delivery nurse at Indiana University Health Methodist Hospital.

Away from work, she enjoys spending time in the outdoors with her husband and five children. She loves to read, spend time with friends and travel internationally.

Cristina Emch has worked in Obstetrics since 2016, first as an L&D and postpartum nurse, then graduated from the CNEP program at Frontier in 2019. She began her midwifery career working full scope at Beacon Midwifery Centered Care, in South Bend, IN. She moved back to Indianapolis in 2025, and currently works in OB triage at Community South. She loves empowering women, mentoring, and practicing evidenced based care.

Bridgette has been a nurse since 2017 with a majority of her experience in reproductive healthcare. She graduated from Frontier Nursing University with her MSN, and has been a Certified Nurse Midwife since April 2025. She currently works with Parkview Physicians Group OBGYN in Fort Wayne, IN. In her practice she feels strongly about shared decision making, promoting patient autonomy, and increasing access to quality healthcare. Her career passions lie in caring for those with past trauma, substance use disorder and improving birth outcomes for those with health disparities. Her work with ACNM began during an affiliate meeting from which she left feeling empowered by the gumption the ACNM midwives had for achieving independent practice. Bridgette is a wife and mother to three busy children ages four, five, and fifteen months. She enjoys spending time reading good books, drinking delicious coffee, and growing her small homestead with her family

Stephanie VanderHorst, CNM, MSN has been attending births as a certified nurse-midwife for over 20 years, and has welcomed over 2400 babies in that time. Stephanie was the first certified nurse-midwife credentialed at DeKalb Memorial Hospital and Auburn OB-Gyn, and has continued to pave the way as a champion for expanding the available options for birth in her community.

Stephanie is the mother of four children: and she is the grandmother of three.

Since before she entered midwifery school, Stephanie had been working toward developing a freestanding birth center option for the women of our area. Her goal is for every woman who wants a midwife, to have a midwife by her side.

She has been active in ACNM and also CAPNI and held board positions for both groups. She is a strong advocate for women and families on the state level and continues to work to break down the barriers for midwives and advanced practice nurses so that they can provide quality care for Hoosier families
